Dear Sounder,
Months have passed since this year’s Balaton Sound, and you haven’t heard from us. We have remained silent because we were facing a difficult decision that required careful consideration. Unfortunately, the consequences of the economic situation that have lingered since the pandemic have also affected Balaton Sound. Over the past three years, we’ve done everything we could to keep the festival going despite the challenges. But in the end, we had to decide that we won’t be able to continue Balaton Sound in 2025 at the quality level you’re used to. We need to rethink the future, and for that, we need time. It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Balaton Sound will be taking a break in 2025, meaning the festival will not be held next year. It’s been a long journey since the beginning, filled with countless amazing experiences and joyful moments. We are incredibly grateful that you have been with us all this time.
